Who we are

FastKey is sold by MOHAMMAD ALJARAD, an individual software developer (referred to below as "we", "us", or "the developer"). Contact: [email protected].

Orders may be processed by our authorized merchant of record, which handles payment, applicable taxes, and invoicing on our behalf. The payment provider is identified at checkout.

What FastKey is

FastKey is a macOS menu bar application that removes the system's Caps Lock activation delay (approximately 75 ms) so that quick key presses register instantly, and keeps that setting applied across reboots, sleep/wake cycles, and keyboard reconnections. It includes a built-in Tap Test for verifying the behavior on your own keyboard. It requires macOS 13 or later.

Trial and license

• FastKey offers a 14-day free trial with every feature enabled. When the trial ends, the app stops applying the fix until a license is activated. No payment details are required for the trial.
• A FastKey license is a one-time purchase. It permits activation on up to 3 Macs that you personally own or use, and includes updates to the app.
• Your license key is delivered after purchase (on the confirmation page and by email). Keep it safe; it is your proof of purchase.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share license keys. We may disable keys that are refunded, charged back, or widely shared.

Delivery

FastKey is a digital product. The app is downloadable directly from this website at any time, free of charge; the purchased license key unlocks it. Delivery of the license key occurs immediately after successful payment.

Acceptable use & warranty

FastKey changes a documented, in-memory macOS keyboard setting and is designed so that a reboot without FastKey restores your Mac's default behavior entirely. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim related to FastKey is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms affects any consumer rights you are entitled to under the laws of the country in which you live.
