The short version

FastKey has no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising — in the app and on this website. We don't want your data; we want your Caps Lock to work.

The app

• No telemetry. FastKey collects nothing about you or your typing. It never reads your keystrokes; the Input Monitoring permission macOS requires is used only to make Caps Lock instant and to run the Tap Test, which watches the Caps Lock key alone while the test window is open.
• Barely any network use. The app checks your license when you activate it, and occasionally confirms it's still valid. Nothing about your activity ever leaves your Mac.
• Local settings. Your preferences and license are stored on your own Mac.

Purchases

Payments are handled by our merchant of record (identified at checkout), which processes your payment details and receipt email under its own privacy policy. We receive order information (such as your email and license key) needed to deliver and support your purchase — and nothing more.

This website

This is a static site. We run no analytics and set no cookies. Our hosting provider may log standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) as part of serving the site.
